Our success has always started with friends like you!
As a Friend of Long Beach Day Nursery, your contribution will support our nationally accredited child care program serving 300 children whose parents are working or attending school. Your gift may be designated for:
“Stepping Stones to Success” Scholarship Fund
Will you invest in our children? When you give to Long Beach Day Nursery, you become a shareholder in their future and we all benefit in the rewards. Your gift at the following level could provide:
$5,000 = Future - By giving enough for a one-year scholarship, you can ensure that more children have the same opportunity to receive the very best in early care and education.
$1,000 = Well-Being - By supplying one day of USDA guided healthy meals and snacks for more than 300 children, you can support a child in growing up to be a healthy adult.
$500 = Discovery - By sending 60 children on field trips to a zoo or aquarium, you can give a child firsthand experience with the things they see in picture books.
$100 = Expression - By providing one month of art supplies, you can encourage a child to learn critical thinking through creativity, leading to better scores in math and reading.
$50 = Knowledge - By stocking a classroom shelf with books, you are giving a child the ability to recognize and understand more words.

Endowment
Earnings from the Nursery’s Endowment Fund ensures future support for daily operations.
